The Discerning Travellers Show
This was a show organised by a travel agent from Travelux in Tenterden called Sarah Vince, and was held in the ostentatious Dover Cruise Terminal One. You can visit the offical DT Show site and find out all about it and how to be involved next year which is set to be even bigger and better!
Every year the team at Hobbs parker in Ashford hold a show at the cattle market, schools and Young Farmers Clubs from the area come to compete along side the local farmers in various classes. There are also classes for art work, cookery, seeds and many others.
Sadly this year it won't be happening because of the current risks from Blue Tongue and Foot and Mouth. I personally will miss it and be looking forward to 2008.
